ABOUT ME

I grew up playing in the dirt. I now play in the soil.
I understand the earth far better than I understand people, but in no way does that mean that I don't get along with people. One of my best friends might tell you, the best thing about Evan is his Aa Ti Tude!
Even though this is a description about ME, and, of course, I only live through my own eyes, I find it hard to write about myself this way... I think my favorite english teacher beat it our of me once upon a time...

Interests

I try to seek out beauty in all things. Whether this is an interest of mine or just the way I go about things, I try to stay AWARE of what is going on around me. Examining intracacies of function, efficiency, purpose, or lack thereof is particularly interesting to me. Otherwise, I am most inrigued by the intricacies, simplicities and beauty of this earth. Physical extreme's are also quite interesting.
I dedicated my life to running for many years, and can tell you there is little more rewarding than, at the end of a long season of enduring brutalizing miles, the ability to float, to hum, (I would say patter, but it implies no power) at a blistering pace- over vast expanse of country with no effort or thought of the task.
