ABOUT ME

I am of the kick-back type. Like to have a good time, enjoy myself and others.

In January I got back from a year in southeast asia, and now I am waiting for school to start this fall. Lots of free time so I'm playing music, cooking, exercising, language exchanging, and chilling.

Music is my great passion. Mainly I play guitar and keys but I will jam out with anything you put in front of me. Moving to LA this fall for school, and hoping to get into the awesome experimental music scene.

I am super laid-back and don't like to get upset over things. So if you like the sound of that, I think we will get along well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not through the website, but I once did a homestay in Japan for a couple weeks and that was rad. It was winter so we ate hot-pot almost every night. They took me strawberry picking in Chiba. Lovely family!

Recently another lovely family put me up in Bangkok for about two weeks, out of nothing but the kindness of their hearts. They taught me things about Thai culture and asked lots of questions about my own. They even took me to their home province to visit family for a few days! Good times, and a great way to enjoy the real Bangkok.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went across the US in an RV with my dad and brother.. that was cool. Then I spent a week in NY with my Aunt and saw hella shows - mark feldman, jonathan kreisberg, nate wooley, nels cline with bill frisell and marc ribot... kind of a supergroup but still awesome!!

ok, I can teach you rudimentary music theory or playing. if you already like to play then I will jam jam jam with you.

I love to cook. Feeding the body is #1 absolutely. I will happily cook something for you that is healthy and delicious... and of course I will do the dishes.
