ABOUT ME

I am a multi-cultural sierra leonean/gambian-american. I grew up in East and Southern Africa as well as in NY. I have been traveling the world since birth and as a result I am addicted to the live of a voyager! I love to cook, dance, and discuss heated political issues.

I am very neat and clean--and can be very social and independent at the same time. I enjoy entertaining guests, different genres of music, and I'm a film addict!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is if life gives you lemons make lemonade..positivity can take you a long way, and negativity can hold you back. It's ok to cry once in a while and get angry, but at some point you have to suck it up and keep on trucking.

I am interested in meeting people who can open my mind to new and exciting facets of life. I'm interested in beaches, indigenous cultural practices, and figuring out how to end world poverty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done in my life most recently is quitting my job in the U.S., moving to Paris, all in preparation to move to Niger (Niamey) in two months...all of this happened in a month time span!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my English, or French language skills. Also I pride myself for being an excellent cook. If you host me I might even share one of my sierra-leonean/sene-gambian inspired recipes. I also love to dance different traditional west african dances, and salsa.
