About Me
Thank you for all the messages! Kyoto is an extremely popular place for tourists; I am pretty busy with work and I get way too many requests to reply to everybody. Please don't be dissuaded, feel free to message me, and sorry if I don't get back to you.
Also...PLEASE don't change your plans at the last minute. I understand if you are late or get lost or whatever. But making other plans for accommodation, requesting last minute extra guests, asking me to come and meet you at 6am etc. is NOT COOL and goes against the culture of Couch Surfing. It's not easy for me to host people, I usually have to make pretty big allowances in my schedule in advance whenever I agree to let someone stay, and I die a little on the inside when stuff like that happens. Sorry, I've had a few bad experiences lately.
xx

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Witnessed a supermarket burning down and a small-scale riot in Cambodia.
Climbing a sacred mountain and being ransacked by monkeys in China.
Riding (and crashing) motorbikes in the hills of Vietnam.
Swimming amongst shapes, colours and patterns that I could never find the words to describe in the Great Barrier Reef.
A day spent battling on space hoppers on the beach in Mexico.
Tripping hard on mushrooms in a remote valley in Ecuador.
Nearly losing eyes, limbs, other appendages due to wayward fireworks in Peru on New Years Eve.
Too many weird and wacky experiences in Japan to even begin to list.
