ABOUT ME

A grew up on a sailboat in Alaska and have been wandering ever since. I spend my time playing music, writing stories, hiking, filming, and sailing. And most importantly, I value the time I've spent developing relationships with people along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

The longer I live, the less solid my views become. I try to be practical and and open-minded. Things work best when kept simple, and experiences are richer when shared with good people. That's about as far as I go with philosophy anymore. Discipline, patience, and humility are my three most important values.

I am willing to share whatever space I have... I'm seldom living in my house but usually there's a spare bunk onboard my sailboat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to many different kinds of music from Sarasate to Jimi Hendrix. The writings of Richard Bach, Joseph Campbell, and Robert Persig have been a great inspiration to me. "The Wanderer" by Sterling Hayden was awsome. Some of my favorite movies are: Dr. Strangelove, 2001, the Motorcycle Diaries, Fightclub, One Flew Over the Cookoos Nest, Apocalypse Now, and pretty much everything that George Lucas made before the 90's.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach music, diving, mathematics, and Sailing. Spanish is a skill I would currently like to improve upon.
