About Me

CURRENT MISSION

be happy and do good

ABOUT ME

I am open-minded and I love to travel, discover new cultures, food and people.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the goal in life is to be happy and make other people happy and finding a balance. Life is not perfect, it is about change. You should always value your time on earth and spend it well, value the environment, other people and yourself. I think it is important to try to become who you want to be but don't stand in the way of happiness by forcing yourself to much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think it is a great way to get to know other people, enrichen both the host's and the surfer's life with new experiences in every possible way.
I think there are a lot of beautiful people in this world, but when we travel we only have little time, to have the chance to meet and get to know them.
I think that travelling alone or with a friend is a great experience, but usually I am up for more company!

When I moved to Aachen I stayed with a host, and then we decided that I would rent a room, as her sister was still abroad, so it was a really cool experience because we became flatmates for a month.

Interests

I enjoy good books, traveling, laughing, taking photographs, cooking with friends and baking cake, learning new languages, dancing, spending time in the parc, sports, walking barefoot, the sound of snow when you step on it and the feeling of sun on the skin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

actually what I think is amazing is when you meet people and have never been strangers but encounter hospitality and kindness
f.e. being asked to join the festivity of a marriage in a sea-side town in Morocco,
meeting people that I feel a deep connection to and am enthusiastic about

Teach, Learn, Share

probably everything except for my toothbrush

What I Can Share with Hosts

perhaps my thoughts, I like critical thinking, asking for the why until I am content with the answer and looking for solutions.
I am very keen on listening to different (reasonable) opinions, as I think it helps discover new ideas, broaden the horizon and evolve as a person
definitely a nice evening with cooking, some wine, I am not the best cook, but I have some favourite meals I would like to prepare for you and I always try new things!
I recently discovered acro yoga, so if you want to try it out here we go!
