Hallo! My name is Ezra, I am a 33-year-old guy from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. I actually first signed up on Couchsurfing.org 11 years ago, when I still lived in my hometown of Bellingham, MA, but I wasn't active and forgot about it. Now that I am travelling again... here I am!

I am not your typical American: I read the news, I am scientifically-minded, I am learning another language, I enjoy museums, I play the piano, I volunteer in my community, I ride my bicycle a lot, I am curious about the world... I could go on, but I will stop there for now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am visiting several cities in Europe over the next few weeks. Although I could stay at hostels, I am more interested in staying with residents of these cities. I think couchsurfing would make for more interesting and authentic experiences. Plus, I would be able to buy my hosts dinner every night that they let me stay at their place! =] Also, I could tell you stories about myself, Boston, Massachusetts, and my recent travels (e.g., Miami, New Orleans, Hawai'i, Portland, and Ireland).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year, I painted an outhouse and slept in an abandoned school bus with my friends on an undeveloped plot of land in a rainforest on the big island of Hawai'i.
