I'm 19 year old, grew up in a small village in the north-west of Germany. Last year (July 2015) I had finished school and worked as a paramedic for an aid organisation afterwards here in Germany.

Now it's time to travel the world and see what life really is about before studying medicine (2017).

Although I haven't couchsurfed yet, I already heard many positive things about this way of travelling. So I decided to try it as well and I would be happy if you decided to become a part of this new experience.

After I've been in New Zelaland for 4 months I'm currently making my way through Australia till 3rd April 2017. Southeastasia (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar) is gonna be my next destination. There is so much more to see, though, so I'm really glad about getting to know more experienced travellers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because visiting new places, looking and learning about things as a tourist is nice, but meeting new people, getting to know their way of living and their culture ist even better and can truly enrich one's journey. Besides, would describe myself as quite a talkative person, who likes to socialise and who loves to learn about other people's life, opinions and thoughts.

Interests

Soccer (but also other sports) is probably the thing I've spent most of my leisure time with in the last couple of years. Travelling has always been one of my biggest interests since I come from a family whose members live all over the world and I can call myself lucky that I got to see already quite a bit in the world. Besides, I'm also a big fan of all king of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, skiing. I've also learned how to sail and surf (both wave and windsurfing for a couple of weeks at least) and I'm always keen on trying some new outdoor sports. I like to throw myself into adventures and I'm a bit of a adrenalin addict in a way. I'm also a person who is quite interested in politics, so be prepared for some longer chats about anything that ist going on in the world 😉.
