Hi! I’m Fabian, a 30-year-old English and French teacher from near Munich, Germany. I love languages, cultures, and connecting with people from all walks of life. I’d describe myself as open-minded, easygoing, and curious – someone who adapts quickly and enjoys good conversations. I prefer simple, authentic experiences over luxury, and when I travel, I do it with an open heart and a light backpack.

Couchsurfing, for me, is all about meaningful encounters. I don’t just want to visit places – I want to experience them through the people who live there. I believe in trust, hospitality, and the beauty of cultural exchange. Hotels feel too anonymous – I’d rather share stories, meals, and moments with real people. As a teacher, I’m passionate about intercultural learning – and this is one of the best ways to live it.

- sports: skiing, snowboarding, biking, surfing, plus everything that gives me an adrenaline-boost actually! (and much more)
- going out, pubs, hiking, discovering (lost) places, etc.

I would also love to try everything I haven't done yet!! I love new experiences.

Movies: I like everything that makes me laugh 😄 – plus any kind of Thriller...or Action.... yeah... you might guess already that I am not picky at all! 🙈

During my vacations, I often spent my time in France, which was always great. If it's not for vacacions, it's for studies, working, or an internship. I'd just go there any time for any reason!
After High School I spent one year backpacking in New Zealand (working and traveling) - it was amazing!!
Since then, I'm really into solo traveling all around the world.

I love exchanging knowledge and ideas in a relaxed, natural way. I can teach you a few phrases in German or French or share some travel hacks and stories from my trips. I’m always open to learn – whether it’s about your culture, your favorite local spots, or a new worldview. And I enjoy sharing good food, music, deep conversations, and moments that make traveling special.

I bring a positive attitude, respect for your space, and a genuine interest in getting to know you, your culture and your area. I’m happy to help around the house, cook something together, or teach you some German if you’re interested. I love sharing travel stories and deep conversations – ideally over a glass of wine (unless you don't drink of course). I’m also happy to join you for local activities, but I’m just as fine giving you your space if that’s what you prefer.
