ABOUT ME

A very open person, always eager to go out and get together with his friends. In an everlasting quest for the perfect cup of Espresso. Always looking for a place to go, be that a new place or an old favorite. Will never let you down when you need a company for a beer, for a night out in a club, for a football match or for a simple conversation. Crazy about cinema, and still wondering if the mission is not about giving all up and start living out of film.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a wonderful experience in Pretoria during the World Cup. I had the most amazing host one can imagine. Ever since I have been looking to top that experience.

Interests

Other than travelling and meeting people, which I believe are interests that are fairly given for all that take part in this community, my attentions are mainly divided into 3 categories:

Cinema
- Watching everything from Brazilian Art Movies till American Comedies, with special interest for European Classics and European Modern Cinema (Antonioni, Fellini, Godard, and so forth).
- Reading books on cinema theory and critical review.

Music
- Classic Rock, Indie Rock, Punk Rock, Balkan, Samba, Pagode, Jazz, Bossa Nova... and open to everything that has some soul and originality.

Footbal
- Specially Brazilian Footbal, but also always interested in European and South American Football.
- One of my biggest passions is going to stadiums, of any kind, but specially the small ones with crazy fans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking part as a Brazilian supporter in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Living for 5 months in the Island of Crete, with plenty of time to slowly go around the island, stopping in every secluded beach on the way.
Travelling overland from Split down to Thessaloniki, being able to explore (at least a bit) the delights of the Balkan Peninsule.
