Overview
About Me
A non practicing Civil Engineering graduate trying to pursue a career in business and commerce. I am looking for new experiences and challenges to help me grow, both personally and professionally.
Traveling solo is one such experience that has brought me to this community.
I was previously at university in London, but have moved to Karachi since last year.
I intend to pursue further education in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was introduced to couchsurfing by an Italian friend and I found it quite interesting. Gave it a go next time I went traveling and had an amazing experience with the host in Leeds.
Presently I plan to travel solo, using couchsurfing to meet new people and the locals.
Interests
I am very passionate about learning how things work, perhaps one of the appeals of engineering. I find subjects such as politics, religion, economics and sciences quite fascinating and am always up for a good deep talk.
On the lighter side, I play the guitar, planning to learn percussion instruments and really enjoy live music and a night out on the town.
One of my other guilty pleasures is food and cooking and can bore you with tips and recipes.

The Ascent of Money and Catch 22 are two great books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skiing on Val Thorens in the Alps!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to cook Pakistani/Indian food. Plus how to make great chicken wings. I can also teach the guitar, well the basics at least :). I am also quite knowledgeable about construction.
I like listening to other people's stories and learning about their culture and traditions. Local history and urban legends, I am all ears.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think the fact that we might be from completely different parts of the world but we are in fact quite the same.
