Never been a chit-chatter or a popular dude, but I'll tell you this much — we can sit and talk about anything non-stop for hours, and as long as the topic is true, honest, and interesting, you best believe you'll feel some kind of connection -- something human for once. That's what I look for and I genuinely try with every potential new friend I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always wanted to travel the world, but not as a tourist. I'd rather dive deep into the culture, and truly become a citizen of the world.

Interests

I'm really big on music and movies. I'm a frequent reader, mostly fiction but I read into the topics that interest me like philosophy and science. I consider myself a writer, mostly screenplays that I try to shoot and direct myself. I tried making music all through high school but quit once I got good at it, don't ask why. I tried photography; never took a good photograph but I can tell a good picture from a bad one. ETC.

I'm probably what they call a cinephile, I'm just absolutely crazy about cinema. Some of my favorite movies are Paris, Texas, Taxi Driver, La Haine, Woman in the Dunes... And I'm not going to list my favorite books, but I will mention my favorite writers: Dostoevsky, Nietzsche, Kerouac, Burroughs, Ginsberg, Sartre, Camus, Bukowski, Salinger...
