Overview
About Me
I'm Faisal. I'm originally from Bangladesh, but since 2009, I've been living in Europe. I lived in Sweden for 3 years and since 2012, I've been living in Munich Germany.
I did my B.Sc in Sweden and did M.Sc in TU Munich, Germany. Now, I work as a Software Engineer for Medical Applications.
I love traveling and meeting new people and experiencing new and exotic cultures. I am also an avid food lover and I try to have as much variety in my food even in my daily life. One of the main reasons I enjoy travelling is because I get to enjoy the local cuisine.
Apart from eating and traveling, I love cooking, hiking, singing, talking about soccer tactics, programming, hearing stories from people's lives etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and allow others to travel through my help. I'm hoping it will allow me to explore a new adventure, which I have never done, along with cultural exchange.
For me the most important thing is that I would already know a person beforehand, from whom I can get to know more about the place I'd be traveling. Who knows, the traveling might end up a more fulfilling experience due to that person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing things....hmm....lemme think a bit
I have been 4 different countries for long term, plus in many other countries short term...made plenty of friends...shared a lot laughter in them...eaten loads of different kinds food...
if you told me as a kid, who was growing up in a lower middle class family in a 3rd world country like Bangladesh, that I would get to experience all these variety of things in my life, I'd have told you right then, that it would be an amazing life I would be leading...so yes...my life, in total, has been an amazing "thing" I have done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you almost anything about soccer history, its tactical and cultural evolution.
I can also talk a lot, I don't know, about billions of things. I like talking. I like filling the time spent with my friends through talking. So, I guess I can teach you how to talk too much :p.
I think I also happen to know some random unimportant facts. I guess that can also be interesting, sometimes, may be?
Oh and I can teach you Bengali, C++ and my original mother tongue "Chatgaiya" or Chittagonian (it really IS NOT another dialect of Bengali.)
Then I can teach you about the variety of fish that Bangladesh has and how each of them tastes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not sure yet. It's my first day here. Never done couch-surfing yet.
Having said that, I think I'm a decent cook, in fact, I think I'm a natural at that (No, I'm not bragging :p, I think I inherited this skill from my brilliant chef mom). So I can cook something for you, especially a Bangladeshi dish, which you might not have experienced because outside England, there aren't many Bangladeshi restaurants out there.
And no Indian food isn't the same as Bangladeshi, the Indian food you eat in Restaurants is mostly North Indian and Bangladesh lies to the East of India.
Countries I’ve Visited
