About Me

Hi!
Having recently graduated, I'm going through the list of things I've put on the back burner. After a couple of months entirely dedicated to doing nothing, I'm going to try to travel across the US from Miami (FL) to Austin (TX), while staying for a few days in each town I come across, before flying to Los Angeles!

I'm usually pretty easy going and I enjoy taking my time. I love discovering new places and meeting new people, but let's be honest: like most people, my main reason for traveling is to make sure that I'm not in a Truman Show kind of situation.

I've lived half my life in France and the other one on the Internet. When not travelling, I usually spend an ungodly amount of time watching TV series, but I've got quite a few other hobbies as well, that you can find below!

---
If you're looking for a couch in the Redon area, don't hesitate to message me, even if I'm not currently in the country. At the very least I'll probably be able to give you some pointers or to direct you to the right people!

Si vous cherchez un canapé dans la région de Redon, n'hésitez pas à m'envoyer un message, même si je ne suis pas en France !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first idea was to fly to the big US cities while renting some Airbnb. But after some serious reflection, it appeared to me that I was probably going to spend a month meeting next to no-one and only seeing the "movie" part of the US. And... let's just say that this wasn't what I wanted.

That's why hitchhiking and couchsurfing seems to me like a perfect, albeit terrifying, solution to discover your country and the persons living in it!

The reason I'm on couchsurfing is to meet people with whom to discover the cities I'm visiting, people with whom I can hang out and with whom I can prove my theory that we're all basically the same, no matter the continent!

(Not gonna lie to you, really hoping I'm using "whom" correctly here!)

I'm coming to the US with my camping gear, so all I really need is a place to put my mattress :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

On a basic level: helping and trying my best to be useful, obviously. Albeit not being a great cook, I'm a very motivated one !

Otherwise I'm not quite sure, but :
- Being french, I can help you with this language, either by talking in french with you or teaching you the basics/random swear words.
- For the same reason I can help you plan a trip in France. I've lived in a few cities across the country and in Paris for three summers.
- If you have a website that you're not sure about, I can take a look and give you pointers. That's one of the things I've been trained for.

And ideally, as cheesy as it is, a nice time while I'm in your city !
