ABOUT ME

Well I guess I could write that I´m open - minded and love to travel - but i guess that´s doing everybody.
So I would just say that I´m a friendly, calm guy, who likes to laugh a lot and try to make the most of now.
Right now I´m staying in beautiful Italy so don´t be puzzled if there are two descriptions of my home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started Couchsurfing in 2014 while I was hiking with a friend the Wales Coast Path. We had some lovely hosts and it was just so nice to meet some friendly people to talk to, after spending some days in the wild with barely seeing someone exept sheeps and cows =).
After this positve experience I started hosting on my own and so far it was also pretty awesome.
I´m also a friend of the thought of shared economy (like sharing bycicles or cars) and couchsurfing is a great way to share, because nearly all of us have some couch or at least some place on the floor, which they don´t need all the time.

Some of my favorite movies:
Forrest Gump, Fight Club, 28 days & weeks later, Shooting dogs, Dead Poets Society, Patch Adams, Riddick, .....
and of course: The Walking Dead!

Music:
Nirvana, Queen, Metallica, Beatsteaks, knorkator, kraftklub, Apparatschik, Rise against, Dropkik Murphys, Flogging Molly, I guess that are my favorites. But I listen to almost everything...I just don't like Hip Hop.

Books:
From the corner of his Eyes, Creepers, Terror, the first books of Dan Brown, but in general I read everything I could get my hands on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of a plane - or at least I got pushed out of it.

I guess I have some nerdy historic facts in my head - as example I could tell you how Dschingis Khan troops prepared their food. :-)
