To be generally awesome. You should join me!
I'm a charming, fun, and occasionally adorably incompetent. Sometimes I'm talkative and outgoing, but I can be quiet and introspective, too. I like traveling when I can afford it, and especially getting to know different local customs, activities, tastes, and attitudes. I am pretty easygoing and do take great pleasure in the hedonistic activities of drinkin', smokin', and lovin'.
(N.B. I generally don't smoke tobacco.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My place is usually full of Europeans.
I have couchSurfed unexpectedly in St. John, NB, and more expectedly in Québec City, Vancouver, and Edmonton.
While my house has hosted CouchSurfers before, it was always my roommate who arranged it. But he is back in France now, so I guess I need to pick up the slack!
music, making stuff, reading and writing, HTML, flute, cheese, sewing, editing video, learning foreign languages, meeting new people
Music, Movies, and Books
I love literature. CanFic, Southern Gothic, maybe a litte Modernism or Historical Fic, and always room for P. G. Wodehouse or Wilde.
I like rock, jazz, blues, motown, classical, folk, and a little bit of hip-hop.
Horror films (both bad and good) are my guilty pleasure.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak really good English and I think my French is finally good too. I know the odd sentences in Spanish and German, at least enough to impress you for a few seconds. I am pretty good at sewing (I sell simple pleated skirts and aprons online), and I like playing the ukulele and the flute (traversière). I am very capable of cooking even though I still have a lot to learn; where I really shine in the kitchen is baking, especially with whole wheat.
