Travel around the world by motorbike!
I'm an Italian guy born and grown in Rome and now postdoc in Yale. Since I started the PhD in Berlin I began to travel a lot and I discovered that traveling is one of the few things that keeps me always happy and seamlessy smiling. :) I never refuse to chat with interesting people while drinking a beer or a coffee.
I think that there are two types of travelers: those who make photos and those who make not. I definitely belong to the second kind.
I love to collect memories and live the places I see. It is ok if I'll forgot the shape of a painting I've seen in a museum, it is the price I have to pay for the feelings and the thoughts I had while looking at it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was hosted many times all around Europe. When I cannot travel enjoy to meet new people participating to the weekly CS-Berlin meetings.
Cooking (Italian of course!), Hang out with new people, Complaining about the weather, Driving (bikes, motorbikes, airplaines, everything!), Books, Music, Theater, Philosophy, Politics, Art, Theoretical physics...
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm mostly and old-fashioned guy, so I prefer (during the day...) classical music (especially Brahms, Schumann and Chopin), Opera (Wagner) and Theatre (Shakespeare). Regarding books, I've red everything of Borges, Dick and Chatwin and I appreciate a little bit of everything, from Pirsig to Goethe, from Clancy to Hugo.
