Hi, I'm 18, just finished sixth form / high school and am on my gap year, heading to university in 2017 to study politics and economics. In the meantime I'm travelling the world (currently on my own) . I'm from the south west of England, a county called Dorset, famous for apples and cider. However, with quite a lot of my friends now off to university I knew I wanted to get out and explore. Travelling solo has allowed me to meet so many new people, something which couchsurfing will also do. I look forward to hearing from you! For my current trip I'm going to Taiwan, flyign to Macau, visiting Hong Kong and then hopefully going to China.

Hitchhiking across Palestine, trying to reach the Dead Sea. We set off early from near Nablus, waited around for hours at a junction until a taxi driver gave us a lift for free! Had to walk the last 3 km in 30 degree heat but we finally got there in the mid afternoon
