To travel to everywhere on earth, stopping for a beer and a chat occasionally.12 countries done ,couple of hundred to go .
Hi, Im a free spirited sort of guy who lives to experience new adventures. ive spent the last few years popping around the globe on the regular tourist trails and am planning to visit nepal in January 2012 and go where the winds blow me from there.Im a pretty handy sort of guy and like to try my hand at just about anything.I like to learn new languages as I go but dont seem to that good at it but practice will eventually make perfect .
I believe the world is an amazing place full of interesting people and places and and I like to focus on the positives of life.I believe in helping people whenever i can and learning as much as can about other peoples experiences.I dont believe in being scared of the unknown.I actually get excited by just turning up and finding out as I go.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Ive done some woofing work in Greece and Laos and Cambodia and enjoyed the experience of working and staying with a multitude of cultures.Id like to be part of the volunteer network in every country I go to as it is a hugely rewarding experience.
First time as a couch surfer but woofing and staying in many dorms over the years has prepared me i think.. i carry an abundant supply of aircraft quality earplugs in preparation for the inevitable snorefest..
reading, road bikes, basically anything with a touch of adventure and a little danger combined(nothing suicidal mind you.)
Music, Movies, and Books
Books" True stories or anything like Bill Bryson
Clive Cussler,Matthew Reilly,jack De Brul,George Orwell
and many others.
Music"I have very eclectic tastes and enjoy pretty much
all music dependant on my mood.
Movies" not much of a TV watcher but the occasional action splatterfest is ok but a good travel doco sets me right.
