ABOUT THE TOWN & WHAT PEOPLE DO FOR FUN
I am 32 years old I grew up in South of Brazil in a town well known as "The city of many woman! Some other people would call Umuarama as "The city where friends get together".
There are many parties going on when graduate students are in town and there's always a reason to celebrate drinking some more, (whether you're hangover or not).
Just like most of the people in the South of Brazil they love BBQing and all that leftover meat has to be BBQed at some point. It is when is time to start collecting money from all participants in order to stop whatever you're doing and drive to the bar on the corner in order to purchase tons of ridiculous amounts of beer, ice cubes, coal, "cachaça" & lime for the traditional Brazilian cocktail called caipirinha".
It is super hot in the summer and besides alcoholic beverages and "Coca Cola" - Coke, people enjoy drinking Tererê. It is tea and it is made from a plant called Erva-mate which we add lots of ice cubes to it.
I lived in the US, France. Met SO MANY interesting people, some other horrible ones. Now I am back to Europe, I am planning to travel some more - OF COURSE! . Looking forward to start THE NEW LIFE in 2015 with positive mind, showing off a big SMILE and preserving a BIG HEART full of LOVE.
"A man must travel. On his own, not through stories, pictures, books or TV. He has got to travel by himself, with his eyes and feet, to understand what belongs to him. To plant his own trees one day and to value them. He must know the cold to enjoy the heat. And the opposite. Feel the distance and absence of shelter to feel well under his own roof. A man must travel to places that he does not know to break the arrogance that makes people see the world as they imagine it, and not simply as it is or can be. The arrogance that makes us teachers and doctors of what we have not seen, when we should only be students and simply go and learn."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate telling people how great CouchSurfing is and how amazing is the feeling of being WELCOMED in a different country.
I surfed so many times and went for coffee and BBQs at the park. Movies and special events... I had the opportunity to get to know travelers and locals. It's great to know what's going on in the city knowing you're never alone. There would be always a traveler in NY wanting to share a meal and get together. I should participate more often.
I love traveling, I love pets, I love children, love the fauna and flora.
I love cycling and scootering in the city. My favorite food are Mexican, Italian and Brazilian.
Acid techno helps to wake me up in the morning and reggae is a good choice at the beach. Rock'n'roll forever and I also enjoy listen to samba, and MPB (Brazilian Pop Music).
