ABOUT ME

Am a practising artist and have lived in Edinburgh for the past 4 years but am about to depart on a cycling adventure to Venice and beyond.
I enjoy being outdoors and open spaces with the freedom to travel as I please, interacting with people and places en route. I think that discussion and understanding of other points of view and thoughts are highly important and that we should all do a little to look out for one another and take a moment to get to know as many people from as many places as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Make a plan but don't plan too hard, organise but but keep it open, think of others and take care with your actions. If you are privileged enough to be able to make our own decisions about our lifestyles then make the right one, not just for you but for all. Be considerate, kind and open.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS but hope that I can in the future host people wherever I might be residing at the time and that through that help them to discover that city/town or country from a local's perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am yet to have my first Couch Surfing experience but hopefully it won't be long now...

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Being part of a community of artists, musicians and writers in Edinburgh to create two great events which changed my thinking on how I could go about my artistic practice and my interactions with people.
Walking through the Alps in Slovenia and witnessing skies, clouds and views like never before.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I am very willing to share and work around some of my creativity with those I meet, both practically and through discussion. I'm pretty handy with power tools and enjoy building out of wood!
I'm practical minded so maybe that would be helpful too and pretty good at bringing structure and organisation
I would like to learn more about organic farming, permaculture and sustainable building methods, about caring for the environment and doing something to strike a balance- wherever I might be.
