I am a 32 year old northern German with different working background. I used to work as a chef, studied tourism and Chinese and are now work as an Online Marketing Manager for an IT Company in Bremen.

With my wife and two small kids (2,5 and 0,5 years) I live in Verden, a rather small town with about 35.000 people 40 Kilometers South-East of Bremen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing because I used to travel alot in the past. As I am now a married family man with two small kids I thought: "If I can't travel as much as I want at the moment I bring people from all over the world to my home."
I want to get to know more people from all over the world and, even more important, let my kids get to know a lot of people from different countries. And if there are good friends to be made that we can than visit later, hey thats the best!

Interests

As a former professional, I still love to cook for my family and learn new recipes from all over the world. I also like to spend time outside with my kids and watch them get to know the world. Meeting new people is always great.

Rock Music in general but I am also into Classical Music and Hip Hop from the 80s and 90s.
When it comes to films I like Action and Horror flicks from USA and Asia.
Reading is a good Hobby and I basically read everything that someone recommends to me. So please share your favorite books.
