I'm the way to start a new trip, initial plan is to go through Nepal, India, Pakistan and Iran, for about 7 months. But nothing is written. I just knowthat I arrive in Kathmandu October the 11th.
I tend to have a nomad life 3/4 of the year then I am in the French Alps, where I work as aid gardien in a mountain hut. I also have some free time to enjoy the surroundings. I really enjoy the life up there, 2500 meter above sea level.
Couchsurfing is for me a question of connections. I read carefully profiles to understand how we would get along together. My first long trip, in the southern part of South America showed me that people were making your trip, not places.
I was born in the Alps, down Mont-Blanc, which randomly became a part of France.
I studied in Lyon, Québec and Paris for five years. Now I am back in the mountains, working during summers in a hut (refuge) and travelling the rest of the time.
I spent 7 months in the south part of South America last year.
I studied visual & digital culture, sociology and gender studies for a master. The school where I went in Paris is a place to study social sciences, it really opened my mind to the world, I'm grateful to this place that awaken me. I like to speak about everything, I'm very curious, I like to learn, and take what people can bring me - experiences, knowledges, etc.
I love to eat simple dishes with vegetables from the garden :) I have vegetarian, almost vegan diet.
I'm practicing yoga and meditation as regularly as possible. My experience is small by the way, I'd enjoy learning more. I will attend a vipassana course in November in Pokhara.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After an adventure in South America, I'm back in the mountains. There I had a wonderful experiences of life, of sharing, of generosity. I met so many beautiful people. They opened their home to me, they gave me rides, they gave me food or love.
I have hosted many friends and friends of friends when I was a student in Lyon or Quebec. I like to guide people in the places I know, about architecture, history or nature in the Alps.
Nature, hiking, climbing, camping, live music, literature, cooking, rain, thunderbolt, french fries, noise and smell of leaves when i'm walking during automn, black sky and stars, yoga, meditation questionning capitalism, social issues, heteronormativity…

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
See the whales in Tadoussac
Skiing in la Vallée Blanche in Chamonix
Sleeping under stars in the Callanques in the south of France
Making coffee in uncommon places
Being in the mountain during full moon nights
The trip I'm doing in South America is making me growing so much, I'm thankful to all the people that cross my path, and all the places I'm able to see.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give the knowledges I have about art, history, sociology. I like to speak about feelings and energies, ecology, anticapitalism, consumerism, different way of living. I like to cook with people too, I'm not really into French cuisine, maybe just for the cakes :P
