About Me

Explore the Balkans.

I'm a student of Electrical Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. I'm interested in every aspect of travelling: seeing new places, meeting new people, driving on wonderful roads, etc. I consider myself reasonable and open to most new experiences.

"If all else fails, use a bigger hammer." :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just joined, so I didn't have the chance to participate yet. Until the summer of 2011 I can only offer to have tea / coffee / beer with travellers and show them around in Budapest given sufficient time. After the summer I'm going to be able to offer a couch as well.

None yet.

I'm interested in basically anything related to engineering and technology, I like to read, watch films, hang out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

** Movies I like a lot: The Butterfly Effect, Das Leben der Anderen, Das Experiment, Before the Rain, Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, The Graduate, Hotel Rwanda, Un Chien Andalou, Donnie Darko, The Hangover, Inglourious Basterds, No Country for Old Men, Gran Torino, The Life of Brian, Rock'n'Rolla
** Music: basically everything from folk to metal, excluding techno, house, electric and rap.
** Books: Vonnegut, Bulgakov - Master and Margarita, Orwell, Zafón - Shadow of the Wind, Frigyes Karinthy, István Örkény, György Fodor :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've driven around Paris on the Périphérique and then down Avenue de la Grande Armée and Champs-Elysées... in rush hour. Also, once I've driven up to Stelvio Pass in Italy. These are very impressive memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make very good spaghetti with hot and spicy tomato sauce if this counts as knowledge worth sharing... :-)
