About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a student at university right now. I am really trying to see the world a little bit hence me being at this website. I am open to meeting people from every walk of life because it gives you a different and richer perspective on yours. I don't really know if any other description of me would be accurate since we tend to look at ourselves from a different point of view so I give you the power to decide for yourself.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have a personal philosophy per se. I think I am still looking for the right one. Couchsurfing is helping me with that along the way :) At this point in my life it would have to be - live and let live and treat others the same way you want to be treated. Just because these are rules that are very appllicable to real life and make person a generally good human being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing has been a great experience for me so far. I have learnt a lot about myself through this network. It taught me to be respectful and communicative. I had some of the best conversations with my fellow couchsurfers and hosts and I always appreciate learning about different aspects of someone elses culture and life. And what better way to get to know a place then through someone else's eyes because the experience becomes that much richer and fuller.

Interests

Listening to music, reading a nice book (I welcome anyone's suggestion for a good book or an interesting artist), taking a walk and just enjoying life to the fullest

Music, Movies, and Books

Dead Poets Society - if you love teaching, this is a great movie to watch. Lost in Translation. For books I am currently reading Vonnegut and enjoying every minute, also John Irving, Richard Yates - Revolutionary Road, Dan Berry - City Lights, Hanif Kureishi - Something to tell you, Jack Kerouac - On The Road. And for some hilarious educational history -Sarah Vowell, pretty much any book from her. Music - jazz, blues, soul, R'n'B, Hip-Hop, Rock. If you have any suggestions I am always open for new musical styles and genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in New York was one of the most amazing experiences of my life - that city is just perfectly imperfect. And being able to travel in general is an unforgettable experience.
