I'm a goal oriented, driven person. When I decide I want to do or learn something I dive in head first and I don't stop until I have succeeded. I prefer to have fun and make every attempt to not take myself too seriously (my sense of humor makes that obvious). Any thing else about me is easiest to learn by asking a question.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first checked it out more from curiosity than anything after my younger more traveled brother told me about it. Then this summer a Belgian couple touring on motorcycles came to my work for a tour and long story short they ended up staying at my house while one of their bikes was repaired and they explored Alaska. Three weeks or so in total and now I have life long friends. It was a wonderful experience that I hope to duplicate in my own travels as well.
