ABOUT ME

My name is Fox Curl and I am a lawyer here in Houston, Texas. My "couch" is my guest bedroom in my house, "The Daniel Greene House." The house is located in the Historic Sixth ward, (less than a mile from Downtown) and was built in 1894. In Houston this means it is ancient.

PHILOSOPHY

As a criminal defense lawyer, I have to deal with some really ugly things on a daily basis. My general philosophy is live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just looking to meet some interesting people and have fun. I live in a very large home for just one person, and I think it would be fun to meet people from all over. I originally read about the website in the New Yorker, I believe, and a colleague has also participated and enjoyed it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Outside of a few Spring Breaks, I do not have a lot of couchsurfing experience.

Plenty of people have stayed with me over the years on various couches and guest rooms.

Interests

I enjoy traveling, hanging out on the beach, reading books, and drinking wine.

I don't get to travel as much as I would like to because of my career, so I figured I could at least be a part of this and make it easier for people who have the freedom to travel.
