I'm Francesca, I'm 29 years old, I'm french and I live with my Belgian fiancé in Brussels. I studied public health and started out my career as a hospital administrator but now I'm growing organic local vegetables.

I'm also a part-time painter, and I'm thinking of making my own paint soon with plants from the garden. I love to draw, learn, create, organize and repair. I would like to learn how to tattoo people and maybe start a tattoo shop some day.

My partner is 36 year old, he is Belgian-Italian, he works as an environmental legal expert in the public sector, and has a passion for birds, bird-watching and wild animal hospitals.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing from my best friend, who has been hosting couchsurfers for years now. I don't like to travel a lot myself, but I enjoy having people over to my place. I like cooking, chatting and making sure everything is ok for people. My partner and I are lucky enough to have a spare bedroom in a nice city, so we must share it!

I've been drawing all my life and I don't often meet other artists, so if you create, I'd especially love to meet you. Also, I'm very progressively getting sick of something one could call "competent normalcy". I was a big stickler for competent normalcy coming from a dysfunctional family, but I'm getting burnt out by my own standards so, if you feel a little weird or out of place in this world, you are very welcome to our home!

Intereses

I paint and have been painting as a main hobby and side income for over ten years now.

I play guitar but not very well. I like to play mostly as an excuse to sing looouuuud!

I enjoy writing my thoughts down (when they are interesting)

I grow things, and my favorite vegetable to grow is chicory.

I was a care-giver in an nursing home for a year during my studies, and taking care of dying people is definitely my most extraordinary adventure.

I also worked one year in a housing facility for homeless people and I loved the people there.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I'd like you to feel welcome to just crash and sleep. If you want to hang out with us, that's great, but if you're tired because you've been out exploring the world, you can just rest. We won't mind at all, we are fairly low key individuals.

If I have the energy I'll make a nice homemade dish, I'm a pretty good cook, but if I'm very busy, I'll still feed you but not necessarily very well! Also, feel free to use our kitchen to make some food for yourself.

We have a nice bathtub. The spare bedroom in which you would be staying is equipped with a double bed with fresh sheets, a plant and a TV.
