About Me

September 1 to 30 I'm gonna stop traveling and be stuck in Palermo for work reasons... at least I can host again! :)

If you want me to host you, here some tips:
1 - Read my profile (I know it's long. Sorry I don't have an audiobook edition)
2 - Send your request 10 days to 10 minutes before the date. (I'm not a planner)
3 - If you're that person who finally decided to travel and you need a couch where to crush and save some money and "I love sharing, I love food, I love music, I love sports"... please just write to someone who gives a shit.
4 - Just be fuckin' awesome!

I'm an Alien-Monkey coming from a far away planet.
Not that kind of monkeys who enjoy throwing feces to each other, though.
Please don't do that.
I can easily understand how humans think, that's why I rarely like hanging out with humans.
I'm stuck on Earth, my Space Ship is broken.
If you know how to fix a space engine, we can go on a galaxy trip together.
Fuel's on me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To bang as many chicks as possible. No, just kidding.
To bang as many dudes as possible. No, kidding again.
People are different and interesting. I can learn even from the worsts of you. And I love learning. So go ahead and show me the best version of yourself.

There is not such thing as "not interesting"... Ok, well, maybe some people are.
I love uncontaminated nature, adventure, (some) people, photo and videography, (some not useless) sports . And everything else.
But not beetroot.
I can most certainly say I'm not a beetroot fan.
I don't eat animals, though.
Not a party guy (except cool house parties)
Not a drugs guy (pot is hardly ever considered a drug and I hardly ever use it)
No hip-hop/rap music (keep that crap out of my house)
If you feel the urge to pronounce the sentence "Let's go dancing", just be sure that I'm not involved in the conversation.
I don't care if you eat meat in front of me. I really don't. Just don't ask me "why are you vegetarian, how long have you been vegetarian, do you miss meat?" If you're vegetarian too you already have your own answers and if you're not, you don't really need to know.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Depressing Italian Indie Rock music is DA BEST; I also enjoy: Mumford and Sons, Arctic Monkeys, Imagine Dragons, The XX, Massive Attack, some modern Bossa Nova, Jazz, Reggae kinda things...
Books: I should write less and read more. Hey, if you haven't yet, read "Fragments of a lover's discourse" by Roland Barthes. It's a cool one! Oh, and read my first book too, "Guide to Sentimental Terrorism"! Barthes one is much better, though.
Movies: It's a sensitive topic. We can talk about movies over a tea. Just show up at my place. And bring cookies - Only one guest actually brought cookies so far. Thanks Dario&Elodie (Brownies)
Oct 2016 UPDATE - Thanks Kati (Oreos)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've almost died.
More than once (I can remember at least 3)
And every single time would have been stupid beyond imagination.

That time I've been sleeping totally drunk and butt naked on the top of a dune in the middle of the desert and a scorpion woke me up tickling my butt... was pretty amazing. It took a while to get out of the desert the morning after though. Good thing I had water. Bad thing... hangover.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not a teacher, please help yourself and absorb my knowledge.
I'm not a student but I learn as much as I can, by osmosis.
I share everything: nothing is private, nothing is personal (I will respect your privacy if you will respect my lack of it).

What I Can Share with Hosts

You can choose between brain-boiling conversations and a really awkward silence.
I can also share myself as a human container of experiences, whatever that means.

If you've been reading my profile all the way to here, we're basically in a relationship now. Please remind me our anniversary.
