I grew up on the beach in Western Australia, went to a huge public high school and some how liked it. When school ended I shot through at seventeen to embark on a wonderous adventure. I now live in Melbourne and have been doing so for about ten months. I like to knit, draw and write write write. I love animals, especially cats (I was voted most likely to become a crazy cat lady in high school. Accurate).
I hate being in the one place and love being independent. I'm bad at writing these about me things, everything comes off kind of strange. But pretty much I'm a really easy going person. I would say that I hate rude people, intolerant people and people who are cruel to others. But my short attention span makes it really difficult for me to hate anything. I bake often (as in cake, rather than weed) and I am possibly the most sentimental nostalgic person I have ever met.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have never been couchsurfing before in the context of this website, although I have spent much time sleeping on other people's couches. I believe that's more 'mooching' then couchsurfing though.
We have heaps of couchsurfers over to our place though, my housemate has been hosting for ages. It's one of the things I love most about the place.
- bad music
- old school disney
- road trips to nowhere
- getting lost in new places
Music, Movies, and Books
Lolita is my favourite book of all time. However Harry Potter runs a close second.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm half Chinese and half Irish so I've travelled around Ireland and Singapore and Malaysia. That was pretty amazing.
