I am the head gardener at a public Japanese garden. When I'm not at work I enjoy outdoor activities. I've been playing rugby for 10 years and I'm seeing how long my body can responsibly handle the sport and my very physical occupation. I'm also very into backpacking and I'd like to be a more active climber.

I'm trying to save money for a trip to Japan in order to develop my craft. I travel for work doing unpaid professional development with other garden professionals around the country. It would be nice not having to pay for lodging while gaining this invaluable and unique work experience.
