Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share experiences and ideas.
I work as a guide in the driest desert in the world, The Atacama, and I love it. Everyday is an adventure in my beautiful desert and I enjoy talking about my land and our stories. But, I also listen to you my dear travelers, and it's about time I visit your home. I'm in a 3 month trip trough Europe, and my next stop is maybe your house?
I like cooking, reading, art. I enjoy the outdoors, specially trekking, hiking and horseback riding. I like to go to new places, meet new people. Big fan of dogs.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Yojimbo, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (love Charlie Kaufman) anything by Hayao Miyazaki, Mad Max: Fury Road, and action movies.
Books: Les Fourmis (Werber), Le Joueur d'échecs (Zweig), Rashōmon and Seventeen Other Stories (Ryūnosuke Akutagawa), but also fantasy/sci-fi. I love reading and talking about books.
Music: I like all types of music (except reggaeton. No, just no.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed a mountain (5600mts). Just one it said.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My enthusiasm for pretty much everything. I like to talk and discuss with people that are open minded, especially if they don't share my opinions. I'm a decent cook.
Also I will help you plan your trip in Chile (Perú & Bolivia) if you're interested :)
You can check my instagram for some pictures of Atacama, @mfran.garcia.
