I am a software developer and personal coach, and I'm currently writing a book. My home is no longer available to share with intrepid travellers as I have moved to a communal shared space. However I look forward to when I might offer my home as a place of rest and relaxation to share and celebrate your travels. I enjoy people and the unexpected pleasures of discovery in making new friends with people I otherwise would not have encountered in our paths through life. I’m finding CouchSurfing—both hosting and travelling—is a wonderful way to do that.

In spite of the turmoil in our world during this time of transition and transformation, my vision for our bright future runs deep in me. I see us moving into a better world unlike anything most of us might imagine. It’s an exciting time to be alive.

I love being physically active, whether hiking, biking, skiing, yoga, playing frisbee, or generally acting like a kid again. I love to write, currently writing a book. I love good food prepared well, good movies, and good music, and sometimes just quiet moments.

I love to see people come alive in following their heart on their path through life. Travelling is one of the most wonderful educations I can imagine. A favourite quote of mine is “Experience is not the best teacher, it’s the only teacher.” Through my own experiences through life, my passion is that each person on our planet know their own highest core value—as an integral part of existence without which the Universe would not be complete.

As far as me personally, I tend to be quiet, respectful, easy to get to know and get along with, and sometimes outspoken in my opinions, but otherwise having a live free and let live free approach to life.
