Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent some time couchsurfing in Europe and have found that those experiences were much more memorable than staying in a hostel or a hotel. I have learned so much more about a place from my hosts and very thankful for that.

Interests

My interests are outside- I love exploring new places, skiing, fly fishing untouched water, and driving around the country in our van.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the blues, jam bands, and bluegrass. I like hearing new kinds of music and getting suggestions from people.

Books- I love reading biographies on cool people and also a sucker for adventure tales.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to every state in the Continental USA.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone how to cast a fly rod.

I own a guitar, but i'm not good at playing it and trying to learn as much I can.

There are a lot of things I don't know, and I love to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and offer good conversation.

I have a bit of construction experience and I've had to jerry-rig a lot of things to make it work while guiding.

I can offer laid-back company and I don't need much to be comfortable.
