Overview
About Me
I'm a mid 20-something mom. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I'm an anthropologist/archaeologist at heart but am currently a stay-at-home mom. I have had the wonderful opportunity of traveling and like to consider my self a free spirit.
I love food, I don't take pictures of it but I love to eat it! I'll try just about anything except fish and I love to cook. I am a week day vegetarian and don't believe in diets, just good fresh eating.
I'm a bit of a crafter and hope to one day be a homesteader. Over the course of the last year I have been teaching myself to be independent including cooking from fresh non processed foods, gardening, re-using and recycling, and making my family's clothes,
All in all, I'm a friendly, fun, and adventurous gal who loves good company!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm planning a trip to Portland and love the idea of a free place to stay. I would love to offer someone a place as well but I have a small child at home who wakes up at 7:30 sharp and loves to scream as she runs through our humble two bedroom abode. However, when the time is right I would love to host someone. I do always travel with a companion for safety.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to spend 3 weeks in Belize at an archaeological field school. While we were there I got to zipline in Guatemala, visit countless Maya sites, went cave spelunking with no gear to see the crystal maiden(ask me about it). i honestly think if something is that amazing you probably can't sum it up in a paragraph, but i think i'm a good story teller so ask me about it!
