I'm Frieda, a 20 years old girl from Cologne, Germany and right now, I'm taking a break between my graduation at school and starting university, so I'm just living life as it comes and I very much enjoy being free and able to do whatever I like to do, not having any commitments (besides working in a small organic food store to pay my rent...). I'm planing on starting to study geography in october and apart from that I'm just very curious to see what the future brings, looking forward to discovering the world.
And to be honest, I hate having to describe myself...but however, I'll give it a try...: I'm an open-minded and curious person, simetimes a little shy, sometimes a little crazy, depending die on the situation... rather tidy, I'd say, but I don't mind chaos... I like talking, laughing, cooking, eating and drinking wine together with nice people and I guess that's all for the moment...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is an amazing and unique way to get to learn other places in the world and meet people from other parts of the world, and I'm curious to do both, so it appears to be a pretty good thing for me to do...

Interests

I love art, so I really like visiting museums and going to concerts and the theatre, playing the violin and singing. Music is very important to me - classical as well as jazz, blues and a wild mix of very different styles of music, including some techno, a little bit of reggae, hiphop and other stuff, which I can't relate to a genre.... I also love literature and I can spend hours sitting in a nice coffeeshop, drinking espresso and reading... I also love being outside in the nature, hiking. And I care about the topic of sustainable development, so I read a lot about developmental matters like the world food situation, sustainable agriculture and permaculture, clean water supply, environmental problems, economic and social disparities and so on. Whatever.
