About Me

leave home, free my mind, learn to sail.. not knowing where it leads me at all

I dont know yet.. im still looking for the answer, seems to be a long way

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

after I heard of many great experiences with CS I decided to attend during my own trip - and now I have to figure out if there's possible CS-business in my new flat to come in Heidelberg!

very good ones! more than 50 nights over the months in the States, a lot different wonderful hosts so far, I like it! And I want to know how the hosting part feels like but I have to wait for it..

life, traveling, nightlife, cooking, sports and brand new sailing! I guess theres a lot more but right now I'm quite focused on these things

I am very interested in enjoying life =) In many ways. A nice café can hold me for hours sitting there and having life circulating around me. I almost never turn down a good chat or a nice meal (cooking, eating, going out, learning or talking about it, whatever way!). I also enjoy going out for drinking beer and fancy drinks - well nightlife in general!

My favorite football team (the real football, some people call it soccer as I learned recently) dominates almost anything else happening parallel to it and other sports (watching and doing) attracts me as well!

I want to learn to sail, I like boats. Especially when they carry me to new places. I think all of us like traveling - this is the reason we are here for, right? I'm no exception.

Well there are many more things to mention but if they are all put here it would be boring to get to know each other, right? So I leave something to explore.

Oh, and I am attracted by Audis - a lot!

Music, Movies & Books

I like thrillers (crime and political) in general but also other stuff. My musicfolder contains U.S. Hip Hop and Rap. Anyway there is also other stuff like rock, pop or somethin' else

One Amazing Thing I've Done

the 10000 miles across the United States, starting in Seattle, tackling San Fran, LA, Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York City, Washington, Miami, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and four National Parks (Yosemite Sequoia Grand Canyon Bryce Canyon) plus the Niagara Falls and everything that's in between as well..

There were so many things in detail... I almost crashed into a FBI-Van pulling over the car in front of me (wouldn't have been my fault!!) - I watched sunset twice from the top of Hancock Center in Chicago, I literally bumped into Salma Hayek at a traffic light in LA, I saw Toronto at night across the Lake, I had illegaly a beer for sunset in Grand Canyon.. well, that US-trip was pretty packed with amazing things

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned a lot about the United States so far and I tought a couple of things about Europe and Germany - CS is a great place for exchanging ideas and opinions concerning whatever you're talking about. My stays so far included all the time some serious discussions and chats - I like it very much and I hope I can provide some information about Germany and Europe to you as well!

Countries I've Visited

France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States
