I was born in Arizona. I've traveled a fair bit for an American, though my passport hasn't got a stamp and already needs to be renewed. I'm hoping to remedy that soon. I'm a pretty even keel person with a dry sense of humor. I'm a writer and a musician and a photographer, but haven't managed to make a career out of any of those things.

Politics - I'm pro-equality and pro-human rights. I've never voted for a winning President, and I suppose I would be considered progressive.

Religion - I'm an atheist, and while I don't mind having intellectual discussions or debates about faith vs science, I have no interest in being judged for my sins by another person. I'm certain that I'm a sinner in just about any religious context. If you like, you can consider me a secular humanist.

Personality - I'm generally quite nice, but I probably have a bit of asperger's. I often say inappropriate things, but it's not usually my intention to upset anyone. I like to joke around, and can laugh at myself, but I can be sensitive if teased too hard.

Music - Gunmoll, Samiam, Jawbreaker, Jawbox, Die Antwoord, New Order, Joy Division, Soul Side, Minor Threat, Descendents, Get Up Kids, Knapsack, blah blah blah. Bunch of punk, old school punk, electronic, rap, new wave, and whatnot.

Movies - Predator, OldBoy, Be With You, My Sassy Girl, Tale of Two Sisters, 12 Monkeys, Brazil, Repo Man, blah blah. I'm crazy into movies. Half my movie collection is foreign. I like mainstream Hollywood stuff as much as obscure artsy fartsy stuff. I just love film.

Books - It's been a few years since I've made time to read a book. I was last chewing through American Gods and trying to get into some Tom Robbins. Last book I read that I liked a lot was Replay by Ken Grimwood.
