Getting shit done!
Incredible how intimidating empty white boxes can be..!
Let's see... I'm a second year student of Environmental Engineering which says a lot about me. I stumbled into it, hated it at first but then learned it was exactly what I wanted to do with my life. Originally I wanted to do a course in Multimedia but I'm now glad all my attempts at getting a place failed. I was planning on moving to Dublin to study, also failed. I cry about this silently about once every half year.
I travelled Australia in 09/10 and this has probably been the greatest experience in my life. I spent a lot of time in the "Old Lady" (our '84 Landcruiser), cruising about this awesome continent. And I can now say without a doubt that its people are as amazing as its nature. Kudos to you, Oz!
I'm a bit of a grammar nazi, but seeing as we'll probably be speaking English you might be spared.
Also, I'm quite resolute about all things environmental. Everybody's responsible for their own actions, but please take into consideration the fact that without this planet you would not exist.
Apart from that I'm not sure what else to put here; perhaps it might be interesting to know that I'm a Vegetarian and I love to cook. And it's always more fun to do that for (or even better: with) more people than just myself! Also I love to swear (it's just so liberating!) and talk about fecies, don't ask me why.
Uh, and I just love animals (including humans)!
Be a part of the Whole and give what you wish to receive (look at me being all philosophical!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By being myself and expecting nothing more of anyone else.
Crashing at friends' places after the occasional night on the piss. This also happens in places outside my hometown.
Aaand there was also a brief stay with a bunch of illustrious guys in Brissie which was abruptly interrupted by changing plans.
The English language. My garden. Party. Friends. Nature. Serious discussions. Bullshit. TV shows (not exactly proud of it, but I'm quite the junkie). I'm a bit of a techie/nerd but I won't bother you with it unless you want me to.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Love it! I've been known to enjoy a pretty random blend of rock, metal, indie and classical music. Loud is always a good start.
Movies: Let's be honest, most of them suck. One that I enjoyed lately was Shame (and I won't deny full frontal nudity had its part in it).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing things happen every day but I would have to say my trip to Oz would have been a highlight. I also really enjoy when stupid things happen on a night out!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share all kinds of philosophic and non-philosophic ideas, concepts and chimeras (beware, I might get esoteric/spiritualistic on yo ass!). Also, I can teach you how to sit in the lotus pose, how to be sarcastic and how to empty your trash on Mac OS X. Uh, uh and I can cook, too!
Countries I’ve Visited
