我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My mom and flew out to pick up a car from my grandmother in Louisiana, and on the way back we decided to stop at the Painted Desert. It was a bit of a let down to arrive on an overcast day, until the clouds broke just a little and pockets of sunlight swept across the cliffs, exposing brilliant colors in little pools as they passed over. We stared for hours wave after wave of sunshine pools appeared to paint the colors on the exposed rocks, and then fade back into obscurity. It was amazing.
