ABOUT ME

I'd hope they'd say I'm studious, well-mannered and determined, but I'm sure they'd add to that list; serious in a good way, deep thinking, funny, loyal, trustworthy, a bit harsh on occasion, possibly a bit too honest but generally a good character who likes his fun, enjoys people (mostly) and loves to learn about new place, ideas and people and above all tries his hardest to engage with the world in an optimistic, (occasionally opportunistic ;) manner, in which he endeavors to do what's right by others and learn as much as possible in the one short life he's been given. But he is human and sometimes makes mistakes.

Interests

Well to give you an idea of what type of person I am, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and Finance but I could study anything! In fact I'd like to complete every course on offer, but I only have one lifetime :( My idea of leisure time is to play squash, watch the stock market, read autobiographies of people who have achieved amazing things, try to read every edition of The Economist cover to cover, see live music, drink amazing coffee with amazing friends (if the coffee isn't great, the company has to make up for it ;), take walks along the beach whenever I'm near it, go hiking as often as time allows, write down ideas for film and novel plots, have extremely long discussions on everything from politics and religion to philosophy and science and the ultimate fate of the human race. I am passionate about sustainability, the kind that still let's us drive fast cars, travel, and live awesome lives (Tesla Motors anyone?). I can talk for hours about green tech and am always up for a discussion. I also would love to learn to sail properly, I have done it once but that was years ago, I have a passion for a well told story and revel in the joys of artful cinema, I love cleaver design and thoughtful, homely living spaces, I love cooking with fresh herbs and cherish the moment when I invent a tantalizing new flavour. I enjoy wine, but have no formal training in wine tasting, I love galleries and have a great appreciation for art as the history book of human emotion. I hope to start my own collection when the budget allows. If you enjoy even one of the above things then, I'm sure we will get along great, if not I'm sure you can teach me something new!
