Like most recent graduates I'm on the rocky path to try and "figure out life." Currently that means reading a lot of comic books, playing a lot of ultimate frisbee, and trying to turn at least one of those into a viable career path.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been part of the Couchsurfing world lately but I was introduced to it in High School when the second tier of my bunk bed was used to house countless couchsurfers over the years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was once taught how to solve a rubix cube by an intrepid Frenchman who had come to Los Angeles to participate in a rubix cube competition. Another Frenchman once taught me how to play Axel F on the piano which was quite exhilarating. Also I think I bemused a bunch of Swedish people when I took them to a "american party," in the hills of Los Angeles.

My favorite book is the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which is I guess kind of appropriate for this website.

I also really like Star Wars.

When SCUBA diving I once saw two sea lions swim very quickly, right past my shoulder. It was awesome.

I would say that the most useful thing I can teach is probably how to get into comics. It's a big world and too many people think it's all about super heroes. It's a diverse medium with a lot of great artists making great work not involving super heroes. So if you feel like immersing yourself in a new medium, let me know.
