Hi to all amazing couchsurfers!

My name is Gabriela and currently I am a Business Management student at City University of Seattle in Bratislava. I live with my lovely boyfriend Dominik in this beautiful capital as well. We do love travelling, that way we already visited many countries together. I took part in WAT program in USA during summer 2011, lived in Nashville, Arlington Heights and Chicago and also traveled a bit with friends I made there. Since I also wanted to spend a longer period of time in foreign country with Dominik, in summer 2014 we decided to work as delegates in Bulgaria and we worked basically on our own, but made a lot of friends! During summer 2015 we finally managed to have a small Europe road trip so we got a camper from a family member and spent amazing 15 days in Switzerland, Germany, France, Monaco, Italy and Austria at the end and experienced the best summer so far! :) We will definitely continue travelling and cant wait to meet you all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply because of sharing our love with travelling :)

Interests

This is pretty easy question! I love summer, I love winter, but mostly I love SPRING! Whatever activity I do in spring, I love it. What concerns sports, I used to jog a couple of years, tried parkour and free running (since Dominik is a trainer), love swimming, snowboarding, skiing etc. I love spending time with family since I do not live with them and cant see them whenever I want. And I love travelling and making new friends of course - that is why I am here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped an old abandoned elephant mummy to give a birth in jungle.
Just kidding!

I am not sure I have done amazing things since all I do is considered absolutely normal from my point of view. I participated in helping homeless by preparing meels for them from my monthly saved money. One time I paid for a small purchase in groceries when I saw on old lady who lost her wallet and was pretty unhappy about that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We do live with Dominik's family right now, so unfortunately we can not share a lot - only have one sofa for one of you. You need to contact us in advance since usually a friend or another family member is sleeping on it :)

BUT!!
We are planning to get a flat in couple of months, so later on you all will be welcome to come! We do know beautiful places in our city so if you need or want us to share it with you or you have an itinerary for Bratislava, dont hesitate to ask :)
