About Me
Hi!
My name is Gabriel, I’m 26 years old from the sunny island of Malta. I’m a writer and journalist by profession. Together with my girlfriend and long time travel partner Ariana, we let go of our jobs and commitments at home and decided to do what we love best – travel! We are experienced travellers, always eager to meet new people and experience new cultures from all across the globe. We are both easy going people, English and Spanish speaking. Ariana is an amazing cooking, I’m the one that likes to eat. We both love animals and enjoy good company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing because I like to travel not for the sake of travelling, but to meet new people, interesting cultures and hosts from every corner of the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The High Mountains of Portugal, Harry Potter, any John Grisham and David Baldacci Books!
I am an author myself so I am, yes, in love with my two novels - Esklussiva Dotkom and Patria. Both in Maltese.
Movies: Anything written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino or Guiseppe Tornatore. Love Italian and Spanish movies like El Labirinto del Fauna.
Music: Practically anything!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Three years ago me and Ariana left our jobs to go for voluntary work in Iquitos, north of Peru. We helped people with HIV and Tuberculosis in a clinic called Algo Bello Para Dios. We spent four months in this place helping in this clinic and in a drug rehabilitation centre. It was a very heartwarming experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help with anything related to media, writing and photography. I can help out in the kitchen, sleep without making a sound and enjoy sitting down to have a nice chat about pretty much anything under the sun.
