ABOUT ME

About me...I'm a very friendly guy. I'm an engineer working in high tech...currently designing mobile phone cameras. I'm training for my second marathon and am often looking for great routes in the different cities that I visit.
I grew up in Victoria BC and have lived in numerous places around Canada. I have also travelled to many different places in the northern hemisphere...not everywhere though. :-)
I enjoy meeting new people. I'm a big fan of staying in hostels as opposed to hotels to meet local travellers.
I like the idea of this site. Everytime I travel I often want to meet more locals. Find out local customs and stories.
