hmmmm perhaps a bit cliche and unsphisticated, but.... A balanced life is a happy life. Finding what that balance is, is sometimes difficult and striving for it can sometimes be gruelling but there is also happiness to be found in this.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently live in Melbourne, if you're looking for someone to hang out with, have coffee, tea or a gin and tonic and exchange ideas on music, politics, science, how cats are the best creatures or anything at all really, I am available!
I am a newbie and as such have not couch surfed.
Guitar, almost all forms of music, thinking, reading, cycling, jogging, walking places, guitar, good food, cooking, baking, tea, coffee, gin an' tonic, travel, the internet, the beach, mountains, forests, the wilderness, cities, camping, animals, hiking, photography, meeting interesting people, did I say guitar?
Musik, Filme und Bücher
books by: China Mieville, Tim winton, H.P. lovecraft, Kurt Vonnegut, Franz Kafka, Peter F. Hamilton, Roger Zelazny to name a fewAlmost ALL music, with a special love of contemporary classical guitar, gypsy jazz, certain electronic music, music from Latin America, stuff that's not in the top 40 (although there are some rare gems in there occasionally) musicians and composers who try new things whether they succeed or fail, and too much else to list here.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I've studied music and guitar at a post graduate university level so I'm quite good player and teacher if I do say so myself ;) Classical guitar is my main passion, however I also play some flamenco and blues amongst other styles. I'm also teaching myself gypsy jazz guitar which an almost entirely different beast. I just wish I had more time to dedicate to it.I enjoy learning about almost anything and everything... but more specifically I'd love to learn Spanish and Portuguese, more about yoga, new recipes to make, and that gypsy jazz guitar!
