Overview
About Me
I'm an inveterate traveler, and have been backpacking around the world for more
than 30 years. I've been a teacher for almost as long, and I'm grateful for the
school vacations that allow me to pursue my passion to visit this planet's gems.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying with, or close to locals allows one the unique opportunity of having an
authentic experience that one misses when you stay in hotels. You are also able
to share your experiences, your cultural background and learn about that of
your host. A good friendship may be forged, and you could also create or
facilitate an opportunity to accommodate you host in the future.
