About Me

To see the world and follow a map to its edges.

We are a couple from Melbourne, Australia who left home over two years ago to live and work in London (and loved it!). We packed up our lives in London in March this year (2013) and set off for travel through South and North America - with a view to finish in October.

We had jobs in Finance (Accounting & Private Equity) whilst we were in Melbourne and then London however, we had to quit those jobs in order for this adventure to happen (which has been the best decision we have ever made!).

I want to see the World. Follow a map to its edges and keep going. Forgo the plans. Trust my instincts. Let curiosity be my guide. I want to change hemispheres. Sleep with unfamiliar stars and let the journey unfold before me.

Adventure may hurt you but monotony will kill you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As we are currently on the move, we can't host anyone... but when we do settle in Australia towards the end of 2013, we will definitely be hosting!

We are new-ish to couch surfing (the website) but are very familiar with the concept as we have hosted a countless number of people on our futon in London (almost too many to keep track of). We love the concept and when we eventually settle down somewhere after our travels, would love to keep having people stay with us and share their stories!

Travel, music, cycling, photography, golf, travel, travel and... travel!

The only continent left to go to now is Antarctica.

Steve plays the guitar (electric and acoustic) and a few other instruments and would love to have a jam with people who we are staying with or hosting!
When we eventually do settle in Melbourne, Gajia wants to start up a cycle cafe with great coffee and music.
