About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Since I'm completely new, it's safe to say that my current mission is trying hosting and surfing couches for the first time!

ABOUT ME

If you asked my best friends about me, they'd say I'm a nice person hopefully. I can be annoying at times, fun at any time, helpful at most times, seem a bit distant at other times, but strive to always be there for people when they need me. I often find a small hobby or topic to research and exercise this almost to the point of obsession. I tend to periodically fall in and out of contact with many of my friends, but who doesn't? I never hold a grudge, judge people beforehand or limit or discourage my friends from what they want to do, be or become. I'm a vegetarian and not a douche about it, but say what I mean when I'm asked. I believe science, compassion and open-mindedness.

PHILOSOPHY

I find that one in pretty good shape when you laugh as often as possible, do what you love, be truly open-minded to the experience called life and not take yourself too seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I'm planning on trying both the hosting and surfing experience for sure. The important thing for me is to meet new people, make connections, have experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far!

Interests

I've long had a scientific curiosity and interest in mathematics which has lead me to study Physics and Nanotechnology at the Technical University of Denmark. Likewise I love gaming, building PC's, and programming. However in recent years I have discovered an increasing interest of travelling and meeting new people. Otherwise I love watching movies and discussing them afterwards, listening to music and following world news and human rights progress, and I'm planning on dancing lessons this fall. I'm also hoping to learn to speak Esperanto in the near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While not exactly a single moment, I travelled Europe for 30 days on Interrail in the summer of 2011 with a couple of friends, and it was somehow life-changing for me.

I once had a eureka moment regarding the theory of electrical fields- and potentials after studying obsessively all night; suddenly everything clicked and fitted so beautifully together. It's a very powerful feeling when you suddenly feel that you understand a collection of important related concepts in mathematics or physics.
