ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm an University Student born in Korea. I like to experience new things that I haven't had before, that's why I applied to Exchange Student Program in Istanbul. I really love to see the beautiful place, and share the life with foreigners everywhere in the world. Although I'm not that much outgoing person, I like to talk and play with others that I've first met. And dream of my life is making our world into better place.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is open-mindedness. Because there are a variety of people in the whole world, I must learn from other people's experience and thoughts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of my friend introduced couchsurfing to me when she was planning to travel Europe. I thought that this idea would be great for me, because I like to travel alone and meet local people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't experienced couchsurfing yet because I knew it very lately. But I'm very interested in couchsurfing now, so I'm thinking about being a host when I go back to Korea at 2015.

Interests

I have interest in seeing new things, such as beautiful nature and great architecture. And I likes to gain knowledge, regardless of field. I'm now studying Engineering, and I will study Business as Master. I'm also interested at learning art history, psychology, and philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really, really love listening to British pop music, such as Radiohead, Oasis, Blur, and Coldplay. I also like to play and compose music through acoustic guitar and piano.
I like movies and books that make me think for a long time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013 new year's day, I was in Sydney and I watched amazing fireworks festival. I decided to travel all around the world since that moment.

I want to share stories of our lives. Because every person has his/her own life and experience, it is always amazing to hear other's story. I can tell stories and cultures about Korea.
